On Wednesday, June 28th, The Watermark at Trinity hosted its first Luau! Residents and guests were greeted with a lei before entering the party. The room was decorated from floor to ceiling including a photo prop board and photo booth props! Johnny the DJ kept guests entertained with Beach Classics between performances by Shazadi Julie. Shazadi began with traditional Hawaiian dances including an audience participation performance where she taught two residents and a young child how to Poi Dance. Her final performance of island belly dancing was done in a traditional Tahitian head dress. Shazadi also went around the room taking pictures with everyone! Our Executive Chef, Josh, roasted an entire pig, served chicken and pineapple skewers, and pineapple upside down cake along with Mai Tais! The event was a huge success and the team at The Watermark at Trinity can’t wait to do it again next year! Thank you to everyone who participated!
